Summary

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Production Coordinator to support the development, production, and publishing of high-volume digital content across multiple social media platforms. This role is responsible for coordinating production activities from concept through final delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a strong understanding of social-first content production workflows.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and support all phases of content production, including pre-production, production, post-production, and publishing.
  • Manage daily production timelines and track project milestones to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Assist with service agreements, purchase orders, licensing requirements, release forms, and other production documentation.
  • Support budget tracking, project estimates, and production reporting.
  • Maintain editorial calendars, production schedules, and resource planning documents.
  • Monitor project timelines and budgets, proactively identifying risks and recommending solutions when adjustments are needed.
  • Update and maintain team resources, process documentation, and production workflows.
  • Coordinate workflows and deliverables with freelance talent, vendors, and external production partners.
  • Facilitate transcription, translation, and localization services for content projects.
  • Manage shipping logistics and equipment distribution as needed.
  • Track production equipment inventory, rentals, and asset utilization.
  • Oversee media management, organization, archiving, and file storage processes.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews of all final deliverables before publication.
  • Publish content across major social media and digital platforms.
  • Perform editorial and creative research to support content development initiatives.
  • Support media operations and community management workflows as required.
  • Collaborate closely with creative, editorial, production, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.

Required Qualifications
  • 4+ years of production coordination, production management, or related experience.
  • Experience managing production processes for editorial and social media content.
  • Experience supporting content production across multiple formats, including short-form video, documentary, narrative, branded content, and digital media.
  • Familiarity with licensing processes, contracts, releases, and legal documentation related to content production.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while balancing competing priorities.
  • Experience working with a variety of stakeholders, partners, and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience coordinating external creative agencies, freelancers, or production vendors.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to uphold and enforce editorial and content quality standards.
  • Experience delivering high-quality content while managing limited resources and tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency with social media platforms, content publishing tools, creative software, and project management systems.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting global content programs and international audiences.
  • Knowledge of social media best practices, platform publishing requirements, and content optimization strategies.
  • Familiarity with media asset management systems and content archives.
  • Understanding of post-production workflows, including video editing, animation, and motion graphics processes.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
