Recently, Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients. LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston, Needham, MA and Edison, NJ.
Responsibilities- Perform a wide range of environmental engineering analysis and design tasks related to planning, environmental site investigation (subsurface and hazardous materials), remediation design, and remedial operations
- Coordination and presentation of planning & design submissions with clients and environmental regulatory agencies
- Perform and manage site investigations to observe and document existing conditions
- Supervise the development of project plans, design calculations, specifications, and coordinate with other disciplines as required to deliver quality engineering services
- Complete and review planning documents and design calculations; assist in the preparation of bid packages, design drawings and technical specifications
- Provide responses and solutions to technical and contractual issues during projects
- Utilize a broad assortment of technical and project management skills on projects that range from small site restorations to large scale new construction
- Engage with existing clients to expand our services and pursue new clients to support growth of the environmental business in the region
- Assist in the preparation of proposals for environmental consulting services
- Attend industry and business development functions as a representative of the firm
- Mentor and develop junior engineering staff
Qualifications- Bachelors degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or Science
- 10+ years' experience in Environmental Engineering/Environmental Consulting
- NY PE or PG Preferred
- Ability to provide guidance to junior level engineers and scientists
- Understanding and application of environmental regulations, hazardous materials handling and disposal requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and consistently meet deadlines

- We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience, a comprehensive benefits package and a positive work environment.
- Compensation: Min: $100k - Max: $140k T he range provided is the salary that the Firm in good faith believes at the time of this posting is willing to pay for the advertised position.
