Overview

Our Midwest healthcare client is seeking a Network Project Manager to lead and coordinate critical network infrastructure initiatives across a complex healthcare environment. This individual will be responsible for managing network-related projects from planning through execution, ensuring timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables are aligned with organizational goals.

The ideal candidate has a background managing enterprise network projects, excellent stakeholder communication skills, and experience working in healthcare or other highly regulated environments.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of network infrastructure projects, including upgrades, migrations, implementations, and optimization initiatives
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, risks, and resource allocation
Coordinate cross-functional teams including network engineers, infrastructure teams, security teams, vendors, and business stakeholders
Oversee projects involving LAN/WAN, wireless networks, data centers, cloud connectivity, firewalls, VoIP, and network security initiatives
Track project milestones and ensure deliverables are completed on time and within scope
Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and proactively resolve issues
Facilitate project status meetings and provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders
Manage vendor relationships and coordinate third-party resources as needed
Ensure compliance with healthcare IT standards, security requirements, and organizational policies
Support network refreshes, site implementations, system integrations, and infrastructure modernization efforts

Qualifications

2 - 5 years of experience as a Project Manager leading network/infrastructure projects
Strong understanding of enterprise networking technologies (LAN/WAN, routing, switching, wireless, VPN, firewalls, cloud networking)
Experience managing infrastructure upgrades, migrations, or large-scale network deployments
Experience working with hospital systems, healthcare networks, or regulated environments is a plus
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid environments)
