Pay Range: $52 - $55/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build scalable backend services, REST APIs, and microservices in Python.
- Own data modeling, SQL optimization, and system integrations.
- Lead design and code reviews and establish coding and quality standards.
- Drive CI/CD, automated testing, and production root cause analysis.
- Mentor engineers and support estimation, planning, and release readiness.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Key Skills; PySpark, Databricks, Airflow, and Terraform.
- GenAI/LLM integration experience.
- Familiarity with React.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with Python 3.x and FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
- Strong SQL experience with PostgreSQL and/or SQL Server.
- Experience with async programming and Celery or similar background processing frameworks.
- Knowledge of microservices and event-driven architectures using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Service Bus.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform, along with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency with Git, CI/CD tools, and pytest.
- Understanding of OAuth 2.0, JWT, and OWASP security practices.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.
- 2+ years in a Senior, Lead, or Architect role.
- Cloud certification preferred.
