Project Manager

Role Overview

The client is seeking a Delivery Lead / Project Manager to support a large-scale global platform modernization initiative, transitioning a legacy system into a modern web-based solution. This role focuses on program delivery governance, portfolio planning, Agile execution, and data-driven decision-making using tools like Jira and Confluence. This role is based in Addison, TX and is open to candidates within Addison, TX + 100 miles radius.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain program roadmaps, Gantt charts, and milestone plans for releases and program increments
Drive scope intake, refinement, and readiness, ensuring work is fully decomposed before sprint execution
Manage scope changes, enforce scope freeze discipline, and maintain traceability
Own Jira configuration, workflows, and data hygiene across Epics, Features, and Stories
Build dashboards and KPI scorecards to track delivery metrics such as velocity, throughput, and cycle time
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and define mitigation strategies for delivery issues
Establish and enforce governance standards, templates, and Agile best practices
Lead pre-delivery ceremonies including scope reviews, dependency mapping, and readiness assessments
Coordinate across Product, Engineering, QA, and third-party vendors to manage dependencies and priorities
Create executive-level presentations, dashboards, and program health reports
Maintain documentation and process artifacts as a single source of truth
Drive continuous improvement across SDLC processes and team collaboration
