Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud AI Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), and AI-powered image processing solutions. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and support secure, scalable, cloud-native applications that manage enterprise image capture, processing, storage, retrieval, and distribution.

This role requires hands-on experience building backend microservices, RESTful APIs, cloud-native applications, and integrating AI capabilities such as OCR, computer vision, image classification, metadata extraction, and intelligent search. The successful candidate will work closely with Product Management, DevOps, QA, Security, and Architecture teams to deliver enterprise-grade cloud solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native Java applications using Spring Boot and modern development practices.
• Build scalable microservices and RESTful APIs hosted on Google Cloud Platform.
• Develop image processing workflows including image ingestion, validation, transformation, metadata extraction, indexing, storage, retrieval, and lifecycle management.
• Integrate AI capabilities including OCR, computer vision, document processing, image classification, redaction, and intelligent search.
• Develop secure cloud applications following enterprise security standards and best practices.
• Implement authentication, authorization, IAM, encryption, secrets management, and audit logging.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or equivalent tools.
• Monitor application performance using logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting tools.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
• Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, code reviews, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong professional experience developing enterprise Java applications.
• Experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience developing cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms.
• Experience with cloud-native application architecture and microservices.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience using Git-based version control.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
• Strong understanding of secure application development.
• Experience supporting production cloud applications.
