Windows Server Engineer

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Windows Server infrastructure in enterprise environments.
• Drive automation, scalability, and security while supporting hybrid cloud platforms and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance and resilient infrastructure solutions.

Requirement/Must Have:

• Strong experience in Windows Server engineering and architecture.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Active Directory in multi-site and multi-domain environments.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
• Experience with System Center tools and infrastructure management.
• Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and IPAM solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Define and lead Windows Server platform strategy aligned with enterprise standards.
• Design and implement scalable Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP solutions.
• Develop and enforce infrastructure standards, automation frameworks, and baselines.
• Architect and maintain hybrid infrastructure across virtualization and cloud platforms.
• Build automated provisioning pipelines using scripting and deployment tools.
• Drive Infrastructure as Code and DevOps adoption across the platform.
• Automate infrastructure and database deployments to improve efficiency.
• Lead capacity planning, performance tuning, and monitoring initiatives.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance infrastructure capabilities.
• Design and implement disaster recovery and high-availability solutions.
• Collaborate with application, security, and compliance teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing.
• Maintain documentation and support troubleshooting activities.

Skills:

• Windows Server and Active Directory administration.
• PowerShell scripting and automation.
• System Center tools including SCCM and SCOM.
• DNS, DHCP, and IPAM management.
• Hybrid cloud environments including AWS and Azure.
• Virtualization technologies such as VMware.
• Infrastructure as Code and DevOps practices.
• Identity management and authentication systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
• Networking fundamentals including routing and firewalls.

Qualification And Education:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Microsoft certifications preferred.

Experience:

• 8+ years of experience in Windows Server engineering and architecture.
• 8+ years of experience with Active Directory environments.
• Experience working in hybrid cloud and enterprise environments preferred.
• Experience with automation and infrastructure optimization preferred.
