Software Development Engineer

job summary:

Are you interested in developing software applications for an advanced global communications service? As a Software Development Engineer, you will design and build critical e-Commerce services and components that interact with a core global satellite network. You will be responsible for building high-scale services on cloud infrastructure that support provisioning and operations for a major internet service initiative.

responsibilities:

• Design and implement communications components, applications, and services.
• Partner with Satellite, Networks, and Security engineering teams to design relevant data models.
• Collaborate with engineers to gather requirements, design, develop, deploy, and operate critical e-Commerce software.
• Build e-Commerce functions on AWS infrastructure and implement software development best practices.
• Develop code, build CI/CD pipelines, and create test automation.
• Design dashboards for monitoring the health of systems.

qualifications:

4+ years of professional software development experience.

Strong proficiency in Java and MVC frameworks.

Extensive experience with AWS (API Gateway, Cloud-native development).

Expertise in API design (RESTful) and JSON.

Proven experience in system architecture, design patterns, and scaling.
