Overview

DB Global Technology, Inc. seeks a Platform Engineer in Cary, NC to develop and enhance next-generation AI enabled applications on behalf of CTB business, transforming early prototypes into scalable, cloud-native systems suitable for production environments. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent and two (2) years of experience implementing cloud infrastructure components on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), including assisting with configuration, networking setup, and deployment of managed services based on defined architectural guidelines; deploying and supporting containerized applications using Kubernetes, including configuring workloads and assisting with environment setup across development and production systems; implementing and maintaining continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows to automate application build, testing, and deployment processes using GitHub actions, Git, Docker, and Helm; configuring and supporting cloud-hosted relational databases using PostgreSQL and Cloud SQL, ensuring proper integration with application services and maintaining operational reliability; applying infrastructure-as-code principles to define and maintain cloud resources in a repeatable and auditable manner; monitoring distributed systems and troubleshooting issues by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions using Terraform, Kubernetes (kubectl), Google Cloud Monitoring, and Google Cloud Logging; and developing and maintaining backend application code using JavaScript and Python, including implementing business logic, integrating services, and supporting application functionality. Salary range: $103,500.00 - $140,000.00/year. This position is eligible for Deutsche Bank's Employee Referral Incentive Program.
