Summary

Overview

As a Waste Practice Engineer for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc., (CEC), you'll work under the direction of project managers and senior staff to assist clients in the waste management industry. You'll take part in preparing permit applications, performing analyses for stormwater, landfill gas and slope stability, and performing construction quality assurance. Both office and field work will be involved. Field services will include performing construction quality assurance (CQA) associated with construction of landfills and other types of waste processing or disposal sites. Office services will require basic understanding and application of civil engineering analysis and design principles.

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering;
  • 0-3 years' experience in the analysis, design, permitting, and CQA of waste disposal facilities;
  • E.I.T license with ability to obtain PE license within 4 years;
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD/Civil 3D software; and
  • Ability to speak and write proficiently and professionally.
