OverviewColliers Engineering & Design, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Surveying, CT P.C., a wholly owned subsidiary of Colliers Engineering & Design, is seeking is seeking an Engineering Designer II to join the Civil/Site team in our Lansing, MI office! Requires travel 10% of the time to client sites throughout the state of MI.
Responsibilities- Develop drawings by modifying or replicating a prior project, applying changes and corrections from redlined drawings, and/or creating drawings from sketches of others or from own design.
- Perform engineering calculations and create estimates.
- Interpret and understand drawings from multiple disciplines for specific projects and respond to requests for information regarding same.
- Work with senior engineers to create project designs.
- Create models, including 3D models.
- Research design options and document findings for project engineer/manager.
Qualifications- Bachelor's in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- 2 years of experience as a Civil Engineer using AutCAD, Civil 3D, Microstation, Arc GIS and Water CAD.
