VMWare Administrator - WINTEL
Location: NY
12 Months +
This is Hybrid - 2 days on 3 days offsite
Must have 5 years’ proven experience as a Systems Administrator in Planning, Designing, Configuring, and Managing VMware Virtual servers’ environment and storage infrastructure
Must be VMware Certified, at least, with the VCTA “VMware Certified Technical Associate – Data Center”
Must have extensive knowledge of Virtualization Technologies in General, not only limited to VMware Products
Must have extensive knowledge of High Available Environments running on Virtualized Infrastructure
Must have extensive knowledge of Server and Storage Hardware
Must have worked with Hardware provided by Vendors like HP (Hewlett Packard) and Cisco
• Working experience with the following Products and Technologies: Microsoft Windows Server 2019/2022, VMWare vSphere, Unix/Linux, NetApp, Windows file system and directory management, Active Directory, DNS, WINS, DHCP, TCP/IP, SFTP, Security Diagnostics Tools, Domain structures, User authentication, User entitlements, Data Management, Password management, McAfee & CrowdStrike Network Security, Centrify/Secret Server PAM, PowerShell scripting
• Knowledge of approaches, tools, and techniques for recognizing and resolving technical (hardware, software) problems
Available to work after hours and weekends as needed Vendor Qualifications
