Business Analyst - Product Team

Title: Business Analyst
Location: Deerfield Beach, FL(Hybrid 3/2) 
Duration: 6 months plus extensions
Compensation: 50 - 60hr.

About the Role
Our client is looking for a driven, (3-7 year) Business Analyst to join a product team leading two high-visibility initiatives: implementing Salesforce Marketing Cloud and replacing their existing Learning Management System (LMS) amongst other initiatves. You'll work closely with product owners, developers and business stakeholders to turn requirements into deliverables that ship on time. This role is a great fit for someone who takes ownership, keeps work moving and wants to make an impact on a fast-paced team.

What You'll Do

• Gather, analyze and document business requirements for the Marketing Cloud implementation and the LMS replacement
• Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria, and keep the backlog groomed with the Product Owner
• Partner with stakeholders and SME's to map current-state and future-state processes and identify gaps
• Track scope, dependencies and risks so the team hits its timelines, and raise issues early
• Take part in all Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, refinement, stand-ups, reviews and retros
• Support UAT planning and execution, data migration validation and go-live readiness
• Help define and improve the team's operating model, including how work is taken in, prioritized and delivered

What You Bring

• 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Strong Agile/Scrum experience: you write excellent user stories and are at ease in a product-team setting
• Proven ability to deliver against deadlines and manage stakeholder expectations
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to drive conversations with business and technical teams
• Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and drive
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence or similar tools

Nice to Have

• Salesforce experience (highly desired), especially Marketing Cloud
• Experience on a system implementation or platform replacement project
• LMS implementation or migration experience
• Exposure to defining or improving operating models or delivery processes
