Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, CI/CD, Cloud, and relational databases. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting scalable enterprise backend applications and APIs.
The role requires close collaboration with development, QA, DevOps, and infrastructure teams. Exposure to .NET APIs, Mainframe applications, and test automation frameworks would be an advantage but is not mandatory.

Day to Day Job Duties

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop scalable Microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Integrate applications with internal/external APIs, databases, and enterprise systems.
• Develop and optimize database queries using Oracle/SQL.
• Participate in application design, code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Support automated testing and collaborate with QA teams on functional and integration testing.
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.
• Support containerized application deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop and deploy applications on AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
• Troubleshoot application and production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with .NET and Mainframe application teams for cross-platform integrations.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and follow software engineering best practices.

Basic Qualifications - Must Have

• 5+ years of experience in Java backend development, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• 3+ years of experience developing and integrating REST APIs and enterprise services.
• 3+ years of experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS/Azure and Oracle/SQL databases.

• Knowledge of API automation and integration testing.
• Experience working with hybrid technology environments involving Java, .NET, and Mainframe applications.
• Familiarity with Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience supporting high-volume enterprise applications.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations.
