What You'll Be Doing- Pull, route, and drop copper and fiber cabling through walls, ceilings, and furniture systems using fish tape and approved methods
- Perform pre-termination tasks including organizing, dressing, labeling, and planning proper cable length and slack
- Suspend and support cable using industry-standard methods such as cable tray, J-hooks, D-rings, bridal rings, and trapeze systems
- Build and organize telecommunications closets, including installing backboards, racks, patch panels, cross-connects, and fiber-optic hardware
- Perform rack-and-stack work for telecommunications and networking equipment
- Install grounding and bonding for racks, equipment, and cabling as required
- Terminate low-voltage devices according to project specifications and industry standards
- Follow safety protocols, company procedures, and quality guidelines
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized worksite
What We're Looking For- Interest in structured cabling, telecommunications, or data center work
- Comfortable working in construction environments (indoor and outdoor)
- Ability to work at heights, on ladders, and in confined spaces
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move up to 75 lbs
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions, drawings, and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Positive attitude, reliability, and strong teamwork skills
Preferred Skills (Not All Required)- Cable installation or structured cabling experience
- Punch-down termination
- Low-voltage systems experience
- Rack and stack
- Ability to read basic blueprints or project documentation

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
