Seeking Senior Oracle DBA with 8+ years of experience including strong expertise in Oracle 19c RAC, AIX 7.x, RMAN, ASM, Data Guard/Active Data Guard, OEM 13c, and performance tuning. Must have experience supporting mission-critical production databases, upgrades/patching, schema refreshes using Data Pump, and HA/DR environments. OCI/ExaCC and ZDM/GoldenGate migration experience preferred.
Required / Desired Skills
8 years of experience as an Oracle database administrator
4 years on 19c
Oracle database administrator using AIX (version 7.x or higher) operating system environment out of which at least 2 years with 19c.
setting up/building and configuring Oracle RAC out of which 3 years on 19c.
full functionality of RMAN backup utility (ex. full back up, incremental back up, cloning, restore/recovery) out of which at least 2 years 19c
Active Data Guard (ADG) and data guard broker out of which at least 1 year of experience in using with 19c.
working within an AIX 7.x operating system environment or higher
ExaCC/OCI varoious features like Resource provisioning, zdm migration, Observability, Performance Diagnostics, database backup and Recovery, Capacity
snapshot cloning technology using Oracle ACFS with Oracle RAC & Standby database (version 12c/19c) based database is preferable.
writing PL/SQL code.
