About the Role:
The client is seeking a Lead Power BI Developer to join the data team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable BI solutions, enterprise semantic models, and reporting infrastructure on Power BI and Microsoft Fabric. You will collaborate with data engineers, analysts, data scientists, and AI teams to support analytics, machine learning, and Generative AI initiatives across the organization.

You will collaborate with data engineers, analysts, data scientists, and AI teams to support analytics, machine learning, and Generative AI initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deliver clear, intuitive, and interactive Power BI dashboards that translate complex datasets into actionable insights.

Author and optimize complex DAX measures, calculations, and custom time‑intelligence logic to evaluate key business metrics and KPIs.
Connect, extract, and transform structured and unstructured data from diverse enterprise sources using Power Query (M) and automated data flows.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and optimize report performance by tuning DAX measures, refining data models, reducing cardinalities, and leveraging star‑schema architecture.
Implement and manage robust governance and report security protocols, including Row‑Level Security (RLS) and Object‑Level Security (OLS).
Collaborate with business leaders, functional teams, and cross‑disciplinary stakeholders to translate analytical questions into impactful, visual reporting solutions.
Requirements
Proven expertise in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.

Strong experience with DAX, Power Query (M), and enterprise data modeling.
Hands‑on experience in BI governance, security protocols (RLS/OLS), and performance optimization.
Ability to work cross‑functionally with business and technical teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
