Daher Regional ERP Functional Analyst

Summary:

The Regional ERP Functional Analyst is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and passionate individual to help provide recommendations for improvement, upgrades, standardization, etc. for Daher s North America region. The current footprint includes both SAP and Epicor s ERP solutions with our core system being ECC SAP. This position will report directly to the Regional ERP Lead for North America but will work closely with both corporate ERP solutions architects in France and with local ERP Analysts in North America support roles. The Functional Analyst analyzes business requirements, creates functional design documents and performs ERP system configuration and customization to provide system solutions for the Line of Business and IT organizations. The role is viewed as an integral strategic partner and business liaison in technology decisions and provides ongoing ERP system support. This includes analyzing business requirements and developing integrated IT and complex business solutions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide deep SAP functional & technical expertise in Production Planning, Quality Management, Warehouse Management as well as demonstrated knowledge of key integration points across SAP S/4 PPDS module and technical components.
• Participate in design for and deployment of integrated end-to-end solutions; partner with other IT delivery team members to ensure efficient and effective design, development, and implementation of solutions.
• Participate in end-to-end design workshops, providing knowledge of industry best practices and application of global SAP implementation experience.
• Document fit/gap analysis and design decisions; ensure deviations from out of the box functionality have sufficient business justification and positive value proposition
• Complete functional specifications for reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and/or workflow (RICEFW)
• Partner with development (RICEFW) team members to ensure technical design and delivery align to functional specifications and adhere to needed quality
• Complete system configuration work
• As needed, provide input to architecture, security, and data standards; ensure end-to-end solutions adhere to these standards.
• Share knowledge of technology risks and opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the respective process area
• Provide regular and accurate status updates and other documentation to management for assigned project, support, and enhancement work.
• Provides support to end-users, including tracking issues and inquiries
• Able to troubleshoot issues and errors and identify required corrections
• Documents new procedures, information, updates current documentation, and trains personnel accordingly

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in information systems, Computer Science, or similar discipline
• Extensive experience in SAP ERP aspects such as Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling, Quality Management,
• Warehouse Management, Plant Maintenance, Distribution, Manufacturing, Purchasing, etc.
• Excellent creative thinking skills with emphasis on developing innovative solutions to solve complex problems that may not have one clear answer
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills required.
• Must possess excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
• 5 years experience as an ERP Functional Analyst or role withing Product development, ERP Consulting, or SAP implementation role.

Work Environment:

Hybrid position (3x/week in office, 2x/week remote) in either Fort Lauderdale or Stuart, FL.
