Endpoint engineer

Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Endpoint Engineer responsible for managing, securing, and automating enterprise endpoint environments across mobile devices, macOS, and iOS platforms. The role involves endpoint configuration, automation scripting, device lifecycle management, and ensuring compliance with enterprise security standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support enterprise endpoint devices including macOS, iOS, and mobile devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops).

• Configure and maintain endpoint management platforms such as MDM/UEM solutions for device enrollment, policy enforcement, and compliance.

• Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, and Python to streamline endpoint management tasks.

• Deploy software, updates, and security patches across endpoint devices.

• Monitor endpoint performance, compliance, and security posture.

• Troubleshoot hardware, OS, application, and configuration issues on endpoints.

• Implement security policies including device encryption, authentication, and access controls.

• Manage device lifecycle processes including provisioning, configuration, upgrades, and decommissioning.

• Collaborate with security, networking, and infrastructure teams to ensure secure endpoint integration.

• Maintain documentation for endpoint configurations, processes, and automation scripts.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with endpoint management and device administration.

• Expertise in macOS and iOS administration.

• Experience managing mobile device platforms in enterprise environments.

• Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, and Python scripting for automation and system management.

• Knowledge of operating system configuration, troubleshooting, and patch management.

• Understanding of endpoint security practices and compliance policies.

• Familiarity with software deployment and device provisioning processes.

• Experience with enterprise mobility management (EMM) or unified endpoint management (UEM) solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Apple device management frameworks.

• Knowledge of automation frameworks and DevOps practices.

• Familiarity with identity and access management integration.

• Experience working in large-scale enterprise endpoint environments.
