Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) supporting insurance workloads.
• Familiarity with tools such as Rally, Clarity, and TM1.
• Experience working in the insurance or financial services industry.
• Experience with agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, etc.
• Strong influencing skills and ability to build partnerships at various levels of the organization.
• Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and experience in developing executive materials with high-level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, engineering and/or similar discipline with analytical bias. CPA or MBA highly valued.
• 9-10+ years of experience in TBM, IT Finance, FP&A, or technology cost management within an enterprise environment is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Apptio TBM / Cost Transparency with proficiency in data modeling, integration, and reporting.
• Apptio TBM Certification (Apptio Certified Practitioner for ApptioOne).
• Strong financial acumen and understanding of:
• IT financial management, including CapEx/OpEx, depreciation, and allocations
• Technology service costing and unit economics
• Self-starter with the ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
• Strong interpersonal, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands.
• Proven knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish/maintain high level of trust and confidence.
• Superior proficiency with Excel & complex financial modeling required (macros, index, conditional list, arrays, pivots, lookups).

Key Responsibilities

• Apptio Cost Transparency Configuration and maintenance
• Provide day to day operational support for the Apptio platform including production oversight, root cause analytical support and analysis/communication of vendor releases.
• Deliver prioritized Apptio reporting data sources and UI enhancements and capabilities for the IT Financials Apptio Platform working closely with the persistent team and business community.
• Assist broader team with design, implementation, and rollout for Infrastructure, Services and Business Units across the CIO organization, leveraging cost and outlook data consumed by Apptio.
• Provide support for UAT, Change Management and the rollout of new capabilities.
• Enable visibility into IT spend and align it with business objectives.
• Be the Apptio TBM subject matter expert, owning model design, configuration, allocations, and reporting.
• Apptio Platform Administration:
• Configure and maintain Apptio modules (ApptioOne - Cost Transparency, Capitalization etc).
• Develop and update cost models, dashboards, and reporting tools.
• Ensure data quality, traceability, and audit readiness of technology financial data.
• Ensure compliance with TBM taxonomy, internal financial policies and organizational standards.
• Data Integration & Analysis
• Manage data ingestion from GL, CMDB, asset management, cloud platforms, vendor feeds, and insurance-specific systems,
• Perform data cleansing and validation.
• Perform variance analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting for technology spend ,
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization across infrastructure, applications, cloud services, and vendor contracts.
• Support annual planning, budgeting, and long-range planning processes for technology investments.
