Business Analyst with WMS/Supply Chain/SAP ERP Sys exp - Carlsbad, CA

We are looking to hire a candidate with the skills sets mentioned and experience for one of our clients within the pharmaceutical Industry. Candidate required to be on-site 5 days a week.

Job Summary : Require a Business Analyst to join our Global Operations team in Carlsbad, CA. The resource will support Distribution, Warehouse and Logistics business functions and associated systems, including Level 2 support for systems like Manhattan WMOS 2010 & 2018, Enterprise E1 ERP System, SAP, BAAN, Precision/TRAX-TMS. In addition, the resource will also support project initiatives involving Logistics Control Tower, Machine Automation, Transportation projects, building Power BI Reports, Network upgrade projects, etc.

Requirements Gathering, Design & Development :

• Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders and end users through working sessions and workshops.
• Develop key documentation including Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), and System Requirement Specifications (SRS).
• Act as a liaison between business and technology teams to support software upgrades and enhancements.
• Document business use cases and ensure alignment with system capabilities.
• Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities to validate business requirements.
• Design system solutions that meet business needs while aligning with IT architecture standards and best practices.
• Develop detailed technical design documentation including data models, process flows, and system interface specifications.
• Collaborate with system analysts and architects on technical design decisions.
• Coordinate development efforts with both internal development teams and external vendors.

Support & Maintenance :

• Provide incident management, break/fix resolution, and ongoing production support.
• Deliver continuous support for deployed systems by identifying issues and implementing practical solutions.
• Perform Functional, Regression, User Acceptance (UAT), and Integration testing to ensure business requirements are met.
• Develop and execute complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers using MS SQL Server Management Studio and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Maintain and manage database scripts to support test data preparation and defect retesting.
• Monitor system performance and conduct regular maintenance to ensure optimal system efficiency and stability.
  
  

Training & Documentation :

• Conduct training sessions for end-users and technical teams on new system implementations and enhancements.
• Develop comprehensive training materials, user guides, and technical documentation to support knowledge transfer.

Ensure proper documentation of processes, configurations, and support procedures for long-term sustainability.

Key Skills & Experience :

• 5 plus years of experience as a Business Analyst working with Manhattan WMOS (2010 & 2018) and ERP systems such as Oracle Enterprise E1.
• 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL and MS SQL Server Management Studio, including stored procedure and trigger development.
• 3 years of experience supporting Pick, Pack, Ship (PPS) processes across Warehouse Management, Transportation Management, and Order Management systems.
• Experience with QAD Precision/Trax preferred.
• 3 years of experience with integration technologies such as XML, webMethods, and Oracle Fusion Middleware (OFM).
• 2 years of experience with reporting tools such as IBM Cognos and Power BI.
• 2 years of experience supporting warehouse automation systems including conveyors, print and apply applicators, in-line weigh scales, and case sealers.
• prior work in biopharma or life sciences is a strong advantage.

• Location: Carlsbad, CA (Required to be on-site all 5 days a week)
• Duration: 12 months 
• Pay Rate: $55 on W2 or $60 on C2C
