Summary

Job Title: Platform Business Process Consultant

Location: Charlotte, NC

Duration: 18 months

Pay Rate: $60 - $65/HR (W2 Only)

Job/Role Description:


  • Drive operational efficiency through process improvement, workflow automation, and low-code application development.
  • Analyze current operational processes and identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and efficiency improvements.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, workflows, pain points, and desired outcomes.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives focused on reducing manual effort, strengthening controls, and improving the user experience.
  • Design, build, test, and support Microsoft Power Apps solutions, including Canvas and Model-Driven applications.
  • Develop automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate to streamline business processes, approvals, and operational activities.
  • Integrate Power Platform applications with SharePoint, Excel, Dataverse, SQL, and other enterprise data sources.
  • Create and maintain forms, screens, business rules, notifications, workflow logic, and data validation processes.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions that support operational needs.
  • Develop and maintain operational metrics, reporting, and performance dashboards.
  • Support data validation, exception handling, and governance requirements.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and solution demonstrations.
  • Document solution architecture, business requirements, workflows, and support procedures.
  • Ensure solutions align with enterprise governance, security, compliance, and risk standards.
  • Provide end-user training and support adoption of new applications and automated processes.
  • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions that improve productivity, reporting, data quality, and operational performance.
  • The first 30 days of the assignment will require working onsite five days per week. After the initial 30 days, the position will transition to a hybrid schedule requiring three days onsite per week.
  • Typical working hours are 7:30 AM 4:30 PM or 8:00 AM 5:00 PM.

Required Qualifications


  • 2+ years of hands-on Microsoft Power Platform development experience.
  • 2+ years of experience with business processes, operations, business process management, or operational excellence.
  • Hands-on experience developing Microsoft Power Apps, including Canvas and/or Model-Driven applications.
  • Experience developing Power Automate workflows and automations.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint, Dataverse, Excel, SQL, and enterprise data integrations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication, listening, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to bridge business operations and technology by identifying operational challenges and developing practical technical solutions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with business and technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience within financial services, regulatory operations, information management, risk, compliance, or enterprise content management.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or SAFe methodologies.
  • Experience with Power BI reporting and dashboard development.
  • Familiarity with Power Fx, APIs, and custom connectors.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale automation programs.
  • Lean Six Sigma, PMP, Agile, or Microsoft Power Platform certifications.
