Summary

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 5 years of experience as an engineer or technical lead
At least 3 of those years delivering outcomes in complex, regulated, or large-scale environments
At least 2 years in a Lead or Principal engineering role, owning technical strategy and directing the work of other engineers across cross-functional digital services
Demonstrated experience assessing and integrating modern and legacy systems (e.g., COBOL, React, AWS, Salesforce)
Experience designing scalable cloud-native architectures and defining data integration strategies
Familiarity with SaaS, COTS, and custom development trade-offs in the context of government procurement
Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and leadership
Must reside in Maryland or immediately surrounding area and be willing to travel regularly to client offices

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Prior experience working within or alongside a state or federal government agency
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, HL7/FHIR standards, or healthcare data environments
Experience with data migration planning, API integration feasibility assessments, and scalability testing
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, and FedRAMP or FISMA compliance frameworks
Experience in technology procurement strategy and vendor evaluation for government contexts
