The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Design & Analysis Engineer to become part of Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) Aeronautical Systems Integration & Test (ASIT) team in Berkeley, MO.

You will enable the ASIT organization to continue to advance its technologies in support of our Air Dominance, Phantom Works & Weapons programs. The team is responsible for developing integration test assets, real-time software test environments, subsystem/system testing, and evaluating system performance in simulation lab environment. Simulation and modeling are utilized to assist in requirements development, software and hardware development, and equipment verification and validation.

Position Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and document moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
  • Designs hardware, software and interface specifications
  • Test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements
  • Assist in monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements
  • Solve problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle
  • Research specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires ship. A final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • Experience designing, developing, testing, qualifying electrical/electronic systems

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with Mentor Graphics Capital tool
  • Experience preparing test plans, schedules and documentation
  • Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, and/or real-time operating test systems
  • Active U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

Summary pay range: $91,800 - $124,200

Potential signing bonus for eligible/qualified external candidates.
