ServiceNow GRC Engineer

The ServiceNow GRC Engineer will be responsible for configuring, implementing, supporting, and optimizing ServiceNow IRM/GRC solutions to support enterprise governance, risk, compliance, audit, and policy management initiatives. The role will work closely with business stakeholders, platform teams, and support teams to automate workflows, enhance platform capabilities, troubleshoot issues, and ensure ongoing operational excellence.

Functional Area Experience / Skills Required

• 4–6 years of IT experience with at least 3 years supporting Governance, Risk, Compliance (GRC), Audit, Security, or Risk Management programs.

• Strong understanding of Risk Management, Policy Management, Compliance Management, Audit Management, Control Frameworks, and risk assessment processes.

• Experience working in Agile delivery environments and supporting enterprise governance, audit, and compliance initiatives.

Technical Skills / Systems Experience Required

• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow IRM/GRC, including Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, ACLs, Reporting & Dashboards, and Update Sets.

• Experience configuring and supporting Risk Management, Policy & Compliance Management, Audit Management, and Vendor Risk Management solutions.

• Knowledge of Incident Management, Change Management, Production Support, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and integration support within ServiceNow environments.

Mandatory Skills

• Hands-on ServiceNow IRM/GRC expertise

• Strong knowledge of GRC processes and frameworks

• Experience in operational support and platform maintenance

Deliverables:

-Process Flows

-Mentor and Knowledge transfer to client project team members

-Participate as primary, co and/or contributing author on any and all project deliverables associated with their assigned areas of responsibility

-Participate in data conversion and data maintenance

-Provide best practice and industry specific solutions

-Advise on and provide alternative (out of the box) solutions

-Provide thought leadership as well as hands on technical configuration/development as needed.

-Participate as a team member of the functional team

-Perform other duties as assigned.
