Technical Program Manager lll

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking an Technical Program Manager lll for a onsite position with a Leading Technology Firm located in Menlo Park, CA. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This is an AI-native role supporting the Marketing Decision Science organization. The ideal candidate will use AI tools as a core part of their operations to build and support high-performing Decision Science teams, creating a bridge to business partners to drive impact through AI solutions. You will be embedded with data science partners, running operations to translate marketing data into measurable insights and impact.

Responsibilities:

• Define and maintain strong collaborative operating rhythms across data science teams and their cross-functional partners
• Guide roadmap planning, including quarterly revisions and re-prioritization
• Implement and execute regular working rhythms to ensure a dependable delivery rhythm of high-quality work
• Help break down work into actionable tasks and ensure sufficiently scoped work is ready for engineers and data scientists
• Unblock work and resolve team impediments
• Track project progress, deliverables, and milestones
• Coordinate and manage dependencies across Data Science, Data Engineering, Marketing, and Product teams
• Organize and maintain project information and documentation in AI-enabled knowledge repositories
• Provide regular stakeholder updates on timelines, status, and risks

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
• At least 5 years of experience in technical program management, project management, or related fields, ideally supporting data science, data engineering, or analytics teams
• Strong technical acumen and understanding of data, software development, and analytics workflows
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects from start to finish
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to solve complex challenges
• Self-starter with a bias towards action and a passion for driving results
• Demonstrated working practice with AI tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT) to draft, summarize, automate, or accelerate program management work
• Comfort writing prompts, building lightweight automations, and reasoning about where AI augments workflows

Desired skills:

• Familiarity with the client's family of app surfaces and the marketing/data science partnership model
• Experience with experimentation, measurement, or growth marketing data domains
• Prior contingent worker engagement at a similar large tech environment
• Technical experience building with AI or familiarity with Analytics

Pay range: Up to $123.28 per hour per hour
