Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Principal Network Engineer to lead enterprise network architecture, cloud networking, automation, and application delivery across AWS, Azure, and hybrid environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in network reliability, DNS, cloud networking, automation, and troubleshooting within large-scale enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and support enterprise network infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and Hybrid Cloud.
Manage DNS, GSLB, Load Balancing, and High Availability solutions.
Develop automation using Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform, and GitHub Actions.
Troubleshoot complex Layer 3 7 networking issues using Wireshark and HAR files.
Manage secrets using HashiCorp Vault, Azure Key Vault, and AWS Secrets Manager.
Lead technical initiatives, mentor engineers, and maintain network documentation.
Participate in secondary 24x7 on-call support.
Required Skills:
8+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
Strong experience with AWS, Azure, and Hybrid Cloud Networking.
Expertise in DNS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, GSLB, ECMP, VRRP, HSRP, SD-WAN, MPLS.
Experience with AWS Transit Gateway, Azure VWAN, VPNs, and cloud networking.
Kubernetes networking (EKS, AKS, OpenShift).
Automation using Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform, GitHub Actions, GitOps.
Experience with Wireshark, HAR analysis, and Linux.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
F5 BIG-IP, NGINX, or Zscaler experience.
Experience in Financial Services or other regulated industries.
Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools.
