Job Description
Summary Seeking a 12+ Yrs hands-on AWS Application Modernization Lead with strong expertise in Application Modernization, Containerization, Amazon EKS, Docker, AWS Transform, and Custom Modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will lead application assessment, modernization strategy, container adoption, and migration execution across multiple workstreams. Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate with customer, partner, and offshore teams are mandatory. Key Responsibilities • Lead end-to-end application modernization and containerization initiatives. • Define modernization and migration strategies for legacy applications. • Drive container adoption using Docker and Amazon EKS. • Assess applications and recommend rehost, replatform, refactor, or rebuild approaches. • Design and implement scalable Kubernetes/EKS architectures. • Establish CI/CD and DevOps best practices for modernized workloads. • Execute application dependency assessments and migration planning. • Leverage AWS Transform and custom modernization frameworks to accelerate migration. • Collaborate with customer stakeholders, architects, and partner teams to drive modernization outcomes. • Lead partner resources and cross-functional teams across multiple workstreams. • Govern migration risks, dependencies, timelines, and technical decisions. • Provide hands-on technical guidance, troubleshooting, and implementation support
