Must-Have Skills:
--Core Oracle PL/SQL Engineering:Development of complex stored procedures, packages, database business logic, custom data types, and transactional data modeling.
--Advanced SQL Analytics & Data Manipulation: Analytical and windowing functions, complex joins, aggregation pipelines, set operators, and subquery optimization.
--Database Performance Tuning: Query optimization, reading execution plans, database diagnostics, PGA memory tuning, and partitioning strategies.

Software Engineer - Primary Oracle SQL/PLSQL developer
Strategic Advisors Technology (SAT) is looking for a Principal Software Engineer who has strong understanding of database technologies and experience building enterprise cloud enabled distributed systems. We are looking for individuals who continually strive to advance engineering excellence and technology innovation.
The Expertise We’re Looking For
- Expertise writing Oracle SQL and PLSQL code, performing data analysis, data modelling, designing and implementation of data APIs and performance tuning.
- Expertise writing and maintaining batch jobs with technologies like ETL/Informatica and Autosys
- Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application
- Interest in writing clean, testable, readable, easily maintainable, and performant code.
- Knowledge in mid-tier technologies like Java, messaging technologies, web container and understanding how they interact with data.
- Comfortable working in an Agile software delivery environment, with exposure to continuous integration and continuous delivery tools.
- Ability to translate storyboards and use cases into applications that give Fidelity a strategic edge with critical thinking and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Understanding of CI / CD processes & tools and are passionate about delivering high quality software.
- Providing leadership guidance, mentorship to empower team members to their optimum performance levels and career potential.

You will actively contribute to the code base while actively collaborating with multi subject area team members and customers. You’ll use your critical thinking skills to translate storyboards and use cases into applications that give Fidelity a strategic edge.

- You will lead design and implementation of software solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements and that are aligned to the program’s strategic direction.
- You will lead application design efforts, participate in design reviews, and code reviews.
- Fully engaging in product quality plan efforts, including test case development, design and code reviews and regression testing aiming to automate majority of them.
- Contribute to enhancing engineering practice in the areas of ATDD and CI/CD.
- Engaging in working with global team of developers in leading standard methodologies for software engineering.
