Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced AEM Forms Template Developer to support a large, multi-phase migration initiative. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience developing and maintaining complex XDP form templates using AEM Forms Designer / Adobe LiveCycle Designer.

The candidate will be responsible for designing dynamic forms for print, web, and correspondence channels, integrating templates with structured data sources, and supporting high-volume template development and migration activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, develop, and maintain complex XDP form templates using AEM Forms Designer / Adobe LiveCycle Designer.
• Design templates for print, web, and correspondence channels.
• Develop complex XDP layouts using:
  • Subforms
  • Target areas
  • Tables
  • Layout fragments
  • Dynamic images
• Map XDP templates with XML Schema (XSD), Form Data Models (FDM), and JSON datasets.
• Enable dynamic data prefill and secure form submission through appropriate data mappings and integrations.
• Support AEM template development activities at a fast pace to meet the requirements of a large-scale, multi-phase migration effort.
• Develop reusable and maintainable templates while following established development standards and guidelines.
• Troubleshoot template, data-binding, layout, and rendering issues.
• Collaborate with project teams and technical stakeholders to resolve template and migration-related issues.
• Monitor batch processing activities and provide pager/production support as required.
• Coach and provide technical guidance to team members on AEM template development practices.
• Contribute to the revision and improvement of development standards, templates, and guidelines.
• Create and maintain technical and development documentation.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

• Deliver AEM templates within aggressive timelines to support the multi-phase migration effort.
• Ensure templates meet functional, technical, layout, and data-binding requirements.
• Support batch monitoring and production/pager activities.
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to team members.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
• Contribute to the creation, maintenance, and revision of AEM template development standards and guidelines.
• Support successful completion of all phases of the migration program.

Required Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with AEM Forms 6.5 LTS and AEM Forms Designer / Adobe LiveCycle Designer.
• Demonstrated experience developing complex XDP/XFA templates.
• Strong understanding of XSD, XML, JSON, FDM, and data binding.
• Experience with AEM technologies including OSGi, Apache Sling, and JCR.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment supporting high-volume template development and migration activities.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
