Here’s What You’ll Do
Summary:
- We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mobile Developer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in iOS and Android app development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cross-platform mobile development, using a framework like React Native, and be proficient in a variety of mobile development technologies. Additionally, expertise in back-end technologies, specifically AWS services and API integration, is a strong plus to create robust, feature-rich mobile applications leveraging strong backend capabilities. This role requires a collaborative mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality mobile solutions.
- Minimum of 5 years of mobile app development experience for iOS and Android platforms.
- Proven track record of developing cross-platform mobile apps and integrating backend services.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling complex technical challenges.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team and with stakeholders.
- Agile Scrum methodology proficiency.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing requirements and technology landscapes.
Education/Certifications (Preferred):
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in mobile development (e.g., React Native).
- AWS Certified Developer - Associate or Professional.
Roles and responsibility:
Mobile App Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android using a framework like React Native.
- Implement UI/UX designs to create responsive and user-friendly mobile interfaces.
- Optimize app performance for various devices and screen sizes.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers and product teams to ensure seamless user experience.
Backend Integration:
- Leverage AWS services such as AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3 to build and integrate backend functionality into mobile apps.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize APIs for mobile app communication with the backend.
- Implement authentication, user management, and data synchronization features using AWS Cognito or similar services.
Cross-Platform Development:
- Utilize a cross-platform development framework to maximize code reusability across iOS and Android.
- Ensure platform-specific optimizations and customizations when necessary.
- Stay updated on the latest developments and best practices in cross-platform mobile development.
- Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, estimation, and execution.
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to refine requirements and provide technical expertise.
- Continuously improve development processes and practices.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Foster a collaborative team environment and provide guidance to junior developers.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
- Contribute to code reviews, knowledge sharing, and documentation.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in cross-platform mobile development using React Native or a similar framework.
- Extensive experience with iOS and Android app development.
- Strong understanding of mobile app architecture and design patterns.
- Familiarity with AWS services for backend development, including AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3.
- Experience with API integration and third-party service integration in mobile apps.
- Version control using Git and GitHub.
- Familiarity with NodeJS and TypeScript.
