C/C++ Software Engineer, TS/SCI with a Full Scope Polygraph Security Clearance Required, Onsite in Annapolis Junction, MD
The team is seeking a Software Engineer to implement, test, and operate using advanced software security techniques in compliance with the technical reference architecture to enhance software systems. Candidates must have an active TS/SCI with a Full Scope Polygraph security clearance. This is a 100% Onsite position and not open for Hybrid and/or Remote.
C/C++ Software Engineer Responsibilities:
Perform on-going security testing and participate in code reviews to improve software security and features.
Debug, design, and code new software or modify existing software.
Provide and recommend engineering designs for new software solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities.
Contribute on all levels of the architecture and maintain technical documentation.
Collaborate with team members and exchange knowledge on secure coding practices.
Ability to develop familiarity with new tools and best practices.
C/C++ Software Engineer Qualifications:
- Must have an active TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph security clearance.
- 7 years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- Bachelor s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. 4 years of additional Software Engineering experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor s degree.
- Demonstrated work experience with Open Source (NoSQL) products such as Hbase/Accumulo, Big Table, etc.
- A minimum of 6 years demonstrated experience out of the most recent 8 years developing production software for Solaris or Linux environments.
- 6 years of experience developing software using Java programming language or C/C++.
- Demonstrated work experience developing RESTful services.
- Demonstrated work experience in Java development.
- Experience with Kubernetes.
- Previous experience developing analytics applications.
