Indirect IT Project Manager BuyerPosition DescriptionThe Indirect IT Project Manager Buyer is responsible for developing, leading, and executing procurement strategies for Information Technology hardware, software, and services across the organization. This role will manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, identify cost-saving opportunities, ensure compliance with procurement policies, and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to meet business needs.
The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong negotiation and analytical skills, a solid understanding of indirect spend categories, and experience supporting procurement and supply chain initiatives within a team environment.

Required Experience- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- 0-3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Commodity Management, or Program Management, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization, translating detailed information into clear and concise executive summaries.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present insights to a variety of audiences.
- Foundational knowledge of Information Technology categories, including hardware, software, and IT services.
- Experience supporting or leading strategic sourcing initiatives and negotiations.
- Highly adaptable and resourceful, with the ability to manage competing priorities and succeed in fast-paced, evolving environments.

- Candidates with 2-3 years of experience in the IT field and a strong interest in developing procurement and sourcing expertise will be considered.
- Desire to learn and grow within the supply chain and strategic sourcing function.
EducationRequired:Additional Information / Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive sourcing strategies for Ford's Information Technology products and services across all Ford business units.
- Drive value creation through cost savings initiatives, including redundancy reduction and tail-spend management.
- Negotiate favorable commercial terms and support achievement of sourcing objectives.
- Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and sourcing results to senior leadership.
- Build strong partnerships with internal business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure alignment with procurement strategies.
- Establish and maintain productive relationships with suppliers, including performance management, business reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with global purchasing partners to support sourcing activities and procurement objectives.
- Provide leadership and guidance within purchasing teams, helping foster a collaborative, high-performing work environment.
- Assist with workload prioritization, performance management, and development of team capabilities as needed.
