Move Forward with VOLT VOLT is immediately hiring for a Project Manager in Spokane, WA Position type: Full-time, Contingent Duration: 6 month contract to hire Location: Onsite in Spokane, WAWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to help our client with Information Technology projects. The ideal person can work with multiple teams, helping to lead Application or other technology projects from inception to closeout, managing the scope, schedule and cost. A+ communicator and facilitator are key to the success of this position. Effectively identify, prioritize, and translate business goals/objectives into information technology strategies/solutions
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing project leadership, coordination, and support for multidisciplinary teams, primarily in the IT/IS department.
- Ensuring projects are initiated correctly, with necessary technical information gathered from both external and internal resources.
- Developing and maintaining a detailed project schedule that encompasses the project\'s scope.
- Work with Planning and Supply Chain to identify and procure equipment and components in a timely manner.
- Ensuring effective communication of project timelines, status, and needs to all team members and stakeholders, typically through weekly team meetings with documented minutes.
- Communicating timeline and scope change concerns to JHS management.
- Reviewing and support the updating of project-related documentation in a timely manner with applicable teams.
- Analyzing and recommending improvements for Project Management processes.
- Meeting and maintaining requirements for GMP manufacturing and complying with GMP guidelines, if applicable.
- Adhering to JHS capital management guidelines and financial rules as per the Jubilant chart of authority.
Requirements: - BS in Computer Science, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- PMP required
- 5-7 years directly related experience
- Superior communication skills (verbal and written)
- Good understanding of the project lifecycle
- Proficient with all the Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
- Demonstrated ability to track and drive issues
- Good soft skills and an ability to deal with ambiguity
- Financial forecasting and budgeting background
- The person in this role will need to have outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Experience managing all phases (Initiation, Planning, Execution, and Closure) of medium to large projects within an IT environment. Experience with Manufacturing Execution System (MES) or Electronic Batch Records (EBR) projects a bonus
- Experience with manufacturing and or pharmaceuticals is required
- Must work onsite 5 days a week, M-F
Pay Rate: $50.00-65.00 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate\'s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
