Technical Lead – Oracle Commerce Cloud (OCC)

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly experienced Technical Lead with strong Oracle Commerce Cloud (OCC) expertise to lead the technical design, architecture, development, and implementation of enterprise B2C commerce solutions.

The ideal candidate should be highly hands-on, with strong experience in OCC customization, integrations, solution architecture, and technical leadership. The candidate will work closely with business, product, engineering, and client teams to deliver scalable and high-performing commerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture and technical design for Oracle Commerce Cloud (OCC) B2C implementations.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership for OCC customizations, enhancements, configurations, and integrations.
• Design scalable, secure, highly available, and high-performance commerce solutions.
• Translate business and functional requirements into technical architecture and implementation approaches.
• Lead integration of OCC with third-party applications, APIs, payment gateways, ERP/CRM systems, and enterprise platforms.
• Conduct technical design reviews, code reviews, and establish development best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers and engineering teams.
• Drive technical estimations, effort sizing, solution assessments, and delivery governance.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
• Collaborate with onsite/offshore teams and client stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, architecture principles, security practices, and performance requirements.
• Participate in deployment planning, production support, and issue resolution when required.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Commerce Cloud (OCC).
• Strong understanding of B2C eCommerce architecture and implementations.
• Experience with OCC customization, extensions, integrations, and APIs.
• Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and third-party integrations.

• Strong understanding of web technologies, integration patterns, and distributed systems.
