Job Description:
Summary:
GitHub's Regional Marketing Team is expanding to hire a Marketing Manager, Developer & Scaled Marketing to drive developer awareness, adoption, and product usage at scale across the region. This role combines community-led developer engagement with scalable digital demand, creating a single owner focused on growing product usage and top-of-funnel reach.
You'll build and activate developer-focused programs while orchestrating digital and demand motions that meet developers wherever they are: in workshops, webinars, ambassador communities, and always-on campaigns. If you're energized by reaching developers at scale, partnering across DevRel, Product Marketing, and Digital Growth, and turning product adoption into a measurable growth engine, this role is for you.
Job Responsibilities:
Build and activate developer-focused programs that drive awareness, adoption, and product usage across the region.
Own digital and demand orchestration regionally, ensuring always-on campaigns deliver consistent pipeline and engagement.
Scale developer engagement through webinars, workshops, hackathons, and virtual series that meet developers where they are.
Run signature programs including the Copilot Ambassador Program, local developer activation kits ("in-a-box"), developer workshops and hackathons, and paid and nurture campaigns.
Partner closely with DevRel, Product Marketing, and Digital Growth to align programs to product priorities, audience needs, and regional demand goals.
Localize and activate global campaigns and content to resonate with regional developer communities and priorities.
Drive product adoption and usage growth, developer registrations and engagement, and digitally sourced and influenced pipeline.
Continuously test, measure, and optimize programs to improve reach, conversion, and downstream product impact.
Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling developer-focused messaging
Knowledge of demand generation, digital campaigns, and always-on marketing principles
Experience with community-led growth strategies and developer engagement programs
Proficiency in marketing analytics and translating data into actionable insights
Ability to manage multiple programs, work independently, and collaborate cross-functionally
Education/Experience:
5+ years (Marketing Manager) of B2B marketing experience, with a focus on developer marketing, scaled/digital marketing, or demand generation.
Proven track record of building and scaling programs that drive measurable product adoption, registrations, or pipeline.
Experience marketing to developer audiences and a genuine understanding of how developers learn, evaluate, and adopt tools.
Hands-on experience running digital demand programs, including webinars, nurture campaigns, and paid media.
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience partnering across DevRel, Product Marketing, and Digital/Growth teams.
