Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Workday HCM Payroll Lead to lead Workday Payroll configuration, implementation, enhancements, integrations, and production support. The candidate will work closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Workday Payroll and HCM configuration, implementation, enhancements, and support.
Configure payroll elements including earnings, deductions, taxes, pay groups, and payroll processing.
Gather requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions.
Develop and support Workday integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, etc.
Lead payroll testing, including integration, regression, parallel, and UAT testing.
Troubleshoot payroll and integration issues and perform root-cause analysis.
Support Workday releases, upgrades, regulatory changes, and production activities.
Create and maintain reports, calculated fields, documentation, and process workflows.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams and provide functional/technical leadership.
Required Skills:
10+ years of experience in Workday HCM/Payroll or HRIS.
Strong hands-on experience with Workday Payroll and Core HCM.
Experience with Workday integrations, EIB, reporting, business processes, and calculated fields.
Strong knowledge of payroll processing, reconciliation, testing, and production support.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
Workday Payroll certification is required.
