We are seeking a senior-level Full Stack & Salesforce Developer to support the Connecticut Department of Children and Families (DCF) CCWIS Program (Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System). This role will contribute to the ongoing SDLC processes of Connecticut's next-generation child welfare platform (CT-KIND), supporting existing custom Salesforce applications, building Lightning and Apex components, and collaborating with external System Integrators (SI) to ensure smooth knowledge transfer and system maintenance.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (1 day per week or 2 days every 2 weeks on-site; candidate must be local to CT)

Key Responsibilities
- Salesforce Architecture & Custom Development: Design, code, test, and deploy Salesforce Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Lightning Pages, Visualforce, SOQL queries, and object-oriented design patterns.
- CT-KIND System Modernization: Participate in full SDLC activities for the CT-KIND system, working alongside System Integrators (SIs) to facilitate application support, module enhancement, and solution handoff.
- Full-Stack & Systems Integration: Integrate Salesforce applications with back-end enterprise architectures, .NET SOA frameworks, web services, and relational SQL databases.
- Technical SDLC Execution: Own technical deliverables end-to-end—from requirements verification and object-oriented software design to testing, deployment, and documentation.
- Mentorship & Collaboration: Provide technical guidance and abstract problem-solving expertise to junior team members while collaborating with social work subject matter experts and agency leads.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Local CT Residency & In-Person Interview: Candidate MUST be local to Connecticut, willing to work 1 day/week on-site in Hartford, and attend an in-person interview.
- Salesforce Development Experience: 5+ years of dedicated hands-on experience in Salesforce custom development (Apex OOP, SOQL, Visualforce, LWC/Lightning Pages, and Salesforce configuration).
- Full-Stack / OOP Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts, CRUD operations, and standard software design patterns.
- Web & Data Technologies: Strong hands-on experience with standard Web Services, JavaScript frameworks, and relational SQL databases.
- Seniority & SDLC Leadership: Proven experience owning the development process from initial requirement analysis to final production release.
Preferred & Complementary Skills
- Microsoft .NET Stack: Background in .NET C#, SOA, and web/Windows services.
- Child Welfare Domain: Prior exposure to State SACWIS / CCWIS child welfare systems or public sector IT programs.
