A rapidly expanding manufacturing organization is seeking an
onsite Network Administrator to support, maintain, and enhance the company's network infrastructure across both plant-floor and office environments. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, and wants to take true ownership of the wired and wireless networks, server environment, and core IT systems.
You'll collaborate closely with an expanding IT team to ensure secure, reliable connectivity and smooth technology operations throughout the facility.
Key ResponsibilitiesNetwork Administration & Support- Monitor, maintain, and optimize network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, access points, and cabling.
- Ensure uptime and performance of LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN connectivity across office and production areas.
- Configure VLANs, routing, and network segmentation to support manufacturing systems and business applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to network performance, connectivity, and security.
Manufacturing Technology Support- Support plant-floor technology including HMIs, industrial PCs, label printers, scanners, and connected production equipment.
- Maintain stable communication between OT/production systems and the network.
- Partner with engineering and operations teams to support Operational Technology (OT) needs.
Projects & Continuous Improvement- Lead or contribute to IT projects such as network redesigns, Wi-Fi upgrades, server migrations, equipment refreshes, and security improvements.
- Document network architecture, configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Identify opportunities to enhance system reliability, performance, and scalability.
