Job Title: Oracle Cloud GOP Consultant – Backlog Management

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Global Order Promising (GOP) Consultant with strong Backlog Management expertise to support order fulfillment, commit accuracy, and supply-demand alignment in Oracle SCM Cloud. The consultant will work closely with planning, order management, manufacturing, and customer service teams to manage backlog, improve promise dates, and drive on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and analyze order backlog using Oracle Cloud Global Order Promising (GOP)
Perform backlog review, prioritization, and re-promising based on ATP/CTP, customer priority, and supply constraints
Configure and support GOP rules, sourcing rules, allocation rules, and promising strategies
Collaborate with Order Management, Planning, Manufacturing, Inventory, and Logistics teams to resolve backlog issues
Identify supply shortages and recommend corrective actions such as rescheduling, alternate sourcing, or substitutions
Monitor and improve commit date accuracy, fill rate, and OTIF metrics
Support exception management for delayed, constrained, or high-priority orders
Participate in UAT, production support, and backlog stabilization phases
Develop and maintain backlog-related OTBI / BI Publisher reports
Document business processes, configurations, and SOPs

Required Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Global Order Promising (GOP)
Proven experience in Backlog Management and Order Prioritization
Solid understanding of ATP / CTP / PTP processes
Experience with Oracle SCM Cloud modules:
- Global Order Promising (GOP)
- Order Management Cloud
- Inventory Management
- Supply / Demand Planning (preferred)
Strong knowledge of Order-to-Cash (O2C) lifecycle
Experience working with cross-functional global teams
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
