Senior Auditor

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Auditor to join a growing public accounting firm in Wichita, KS. This position is ideal for professionals with strong audit and assurance experience who are looking to grow their career in a collaborative and client-focused environment.

The candidate will be responsible for leading audit engagements, reviewing financial statements and workpapers, supervising staff, and working directly with clients across multiple industries.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage audit and assurance engagements from planning through completion
• Prepare and review audit workpapers, financial statements, and disclosures
• Supervise and mentor junior audit staff during engagements
• Perform risk assessments and analytical review procedures
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and auditing standards
• Manage multiple client engagements and meet project deadlines
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients and firm leadership
• Assist with engagement budgeting, scheduling, and workflow coordination
• Research and resolve accounting and audit-related issues
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide excellent client service

Requirements:

• 2+ years of recent public accounting audit experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA or CPA eligibility preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and auditing standards
• Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Prior experience supervising or mentoring staff is a plus
