1981 Maintenance Supervisor Job Description
Responsibilities:
· Lead and supervise maintenance team.
o Maintenance work order system experience delegation and follow up to ensure work completion.
o Work order review and system improvement to improve efficiency.
o Preventative maintenance system understanding and control.
o 5S of the area and plant.
· Develop and implement maintenance strategies.
o Maintenance inventory cycle counts, organization, and data integrity.
o Team member development, assessments, and training plans.
· Manage maintenance budget and resources.
· Ensure efficient maintenance upkeep and repair of the facility and production equipment.
· Monitor compliance with corporate, state and local safety regulations.
· Manage vendor relationships and contracts.
· Maintain records and generate reports downtime, PM completion, regulatory compliance, 5S audits, accident investigations.
· Identify opportunities for process improvement.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred.
· 5-7 years of maintenance leadership/supervisory experience.
· Understands production is the customer and has the ability to work cross functionally to support multiple issues at a time.
· Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
· Experience with PLCs a BIG PLUS
· Experience with electrical mechanical systems.
· HSE compliance experience, site audits and training and implementation of controls
· Excellent leadership and communication skills – is willing to develop and support team member growth.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
· Budgeting and cost control expertise.
· Must pass a drug test and physical exam.
