Job Summary
.NET Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable web and enterprise applications using Microsoft .NET technologies. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, providing technical leadership, and delivering high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET Framework and .NET Core/.NET.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, web services, and backend components.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, architects, and stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Participate in system design, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making.
- Support application deployments and contribute to CI/CD processes.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong experience with C# and .NET Framework/.NET Core/.NET.
- Experience developing ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, or Web API applications.
- Proficiency in SQL Server and database design concepts.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
- Experience with source control systems such as Git.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as Angular, React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Understanding of security best practices and authentication frameworks.
