BI Data Analyst

TEKsystems is looking for a BI Data Analyst to perform analysis of structured and unstructured datasets to develop metrics, reports, and visualizations of trends and patterns for one of our customers in Downers Grove. This is a full time role.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
Strong SQL skills with experience in Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL (2+ years).
Python experience for data manipulation, automation, or integration (2+ years).
Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and dashboard development.
Familiarity with Azure Data Services such as:
Azure Synapse Analytics for data warehousing.
Azure Data Factory for ETL and data integration.
Azure Data Lake for storage and analytics.
Azure Analysis Services or Power BI Tabular Models for semantic modeling.
Understanding of data modeling principles (Kimball methodology preferred).
Experience creating and maintaining semantic models and implementing measures/calculations.
Knowledge of data storytelling and translating business requirements into BI solutions.
Exposure to data governance tools like Microsoft Purview is a plus.
Excellent communication skills for documenting requirements and presenting insights.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
