Senior UiPath Automation Specialist

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum five (5) years of recent, hands-on UiPath experience, including development of automations delivered into a production environment. Training, academy coursework, certification preparation, and personal or lab projects do not satisfy this requirement.
Expert-level working knowledge of UiPath Studio, including workflow design, data manipulation, UI Automation activities, selector strategy, and debugging - sufficient to independently evaluate, review, and challenge vendor-produced automation designs and code.
Demonstrated working knowledge of UiPath Orchestrator, including packages and versioning, processes and jobs, queues, assets, triggers, folders, robot configuration, credential stores, and logging - sufficient to evaluate vendor deployment approaches and operational readiness.
Demonstrated working knowledge of the UiPath Robotic Enterprise Framework (REFramework), transactional queue-based design, retry and recovery logic, and the distinction between business and system exceptions, and the ability to assess whether a vendor solution applies these patterns appropriately.
Demonstrated experience developing prototypes and proofs of concept in UiPath to test technical feasibility, validate assumptions, and demonstrate automation concepts to business and technical audiences.
Demonstrated experience developing, maintaining, or substantially contributing to an automation roadmap at the agency, division, or enterprise level, including identification, qualification, sequencing, and prioritization of automation opportunities across multiple business areas.
Demonstrated ability to explain automation concepts, capabilities, constraints, and impacts to non-technical business audiences, including helping business areas understand why a process is or is not a good automation candidate and what automation will and will not change about their work.
Experience participating in and guiding automation discovery sessions and process walkthroughs with business subject matter experts, working alongside assigned business analysts who lead facilitation and detailed process documentation.
Demonstrated experience assessing candidate business processes for automation suitability - including feasibility, complexity, effort, expected benefit, risk, dependencies, and business readiness.
Demonstrated experience serving as a technical subject matter expert to project managers and program leadership, including translating vendor technical content into business terms and providing independent advice on vendor approach, estimates, and readiness.
Experience supporting implementation and ongoing operational support of automation solutions, including user acceptance testing coordination, business readiness and go-live support, documentation of business-reported issues, and creation and submission of support tickets to a vendor support process.
Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills, with demonstrated ability to communicate complex automation and technology information clearly to audiences with varying levels of technical knowledge, and to organize and prioritize in a high production, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
UiPath Certified Professional Automation Developer Professional (UiPath-ADPv1), or the legacy UiPath Certified Advanced RPA Developer (UiARD) certification, in good standing, which must be maintained throughout the life.
UiPath Certified Professional Automation Business Analyst Professional (UiPath-ABAv1) certification, in good standing, which must be maintained throughout the life.
Working knowledge of broader UiPath Platform capabilities, including Document Understanding, Action Center, Integration Service, Test Suite, Automation Hub, Task Mining, and Process Mining, sufficient to advise the Program on where each capability is and is not applicable.
Working knowledge of secure automation practices, including credential stores, least-privilege robot and service accounts, avoidance of hardcoded credentials, and appropriate handling of sensitive data in automation logs and artifacts.
Experience working within program management offices (PMOs) on large-scale government or enterprise technology programs, supporting multiple project managers and workstream leads, in a matrixed environment of contractor, vendor, and state government resources.
Experience establishing or contributing to automation standards, intake processes, or a Center of Excellence (CoE) operating model.
Prior automation delivery or advisory experience for a state agency or other public-sector organization.
Proficiency with the full Microsoft 365 suite including Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint; able to produce professional-quality roadmap, assessment, and status materials independently.
