.NET Developer
Baton Rouge, Louisiana – Remote
4 years Contract
We are seeking candidates who are authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for visa sponsorship and are willing to be employed on a W2 basis.
The scope of the proposed services will include the following:
Development & configuration of a custom-built .NET development project.
Designs, codes, compiles, tests, debugs, and documents web applications, maintenance, and support of applications.
Monitors, reviews, and audits performance of the customer-agency’s replacement software and makes performance improvements.
Cooperation with LDWF’s Technical Architect and other OTS technical teams to ensure compliance with OTS standards of State applications.
Provides technical knowledge transfer, training, and documentation to OTS and Customer- Agency staff for all requested work.
Participates by providing feedback and detailed design and implementation approaches in all necessary team meetings and design sessions in accordance with Scrum ceremonies.
Performs all other tasks, special projects, analysis, studies, and plans as directed.
Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory:
Two (2) plus years of full-stack experience in any combination of the following areas:
o C#
o ASP.NET Core
o MSSQL
One (1) plus years of enterprise-level software development
Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable but not mandatory:
Two (2) plus years of expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas:
o Recent experience developing applications in MVC architecture using .NET Core 2.x or 3.x or .NET 5 and greater
o Bootstrap
o Javascript
o SQL Server
o DevOps Practices (CI/CD)
One (1) plus years of experience using Vue/React frameworks
Experience working on a development team
Experience with client engagements on design, delivery, deployment and on-going maintenance
Previous experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
