Role: SAP S/4HANA Finance Functional Consultant (Public Cloud Edition)
Location: San Francisco, CA – West Coast (Only Locals)
Work Model: Onsite 4 Days/Week
Engagement: Contract
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance Functional Consultant to support the Explore, Realize, and Deploy phases of an SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation.
This is a client-side advisory role focused on functional expertise, business process validation, integration, data migration governance, testing, and stakeholder management rather than primary SAP configuration.
MUST-HAVE SKILLS
✅ 5+ years of SAP configuration experience
✅ 2–3 full-lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations or conversions
✅ Strong SAP FI/CO functional and architectural knowledge
✅ Understanding of MM, SD, PP & cross-module integration
✅ Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud / PCE preferred
✅ Strong SAP interface management and integration experience
✅ Source-to-target mapping, transformation rules & business logic
✅ Experience with middleware / mediation layer integrations
✅ Strong SAP data migration, extraction, cleansing & validation experience
✅ Experience writing and executing test cases and integration testing
✅ Knowledge of automated testing, APIs & end-to-end scenarios
✅ Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
🔸 Facilitate and support business workshops during the Explore phase
🔸 Bridge business requirements with the system integrator
🔸 Challenge and validate proposed solution designs
🔸 Define and validate organizational structures and business rules
🔸 Review interface designs, mappings and integration requirements
🔸 Support data migration strategy, extraction, mapping and cleansing
🔸 Prepare and validate test data and test cases
🔸 Support integration testing, UAT and automated testing validation
🔸 Assist with change management, training and Key User support
🔸 Contribute to comprehensive testing plans and deployment readiness
CERTIFICATION
⭐ SAP S/4HANA Finance Certification preferred
⭐ SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP S/4HANA for Financial Accounting or related certification
