Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Quality Assurance Analysts and Testers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites across UI, API, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Collaborate with software engineers to define test scenarios, improve testability, and identify defects.
- Execute automated and manual testing, including defect triage, diagnosis, and resolution support.
- Integrate testing activities with development processes and contribute to continuous improvement of quality practices.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:

Education
|
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience
|
2+ years of experience in software test development, including functional and non-functional testing, test automation, and software quality assurance.
|
|
Technical Skills
|
JavaScript, Node.js, Python, Test Automation, API Testing, UI Testing, Integration Testing, CI/CD
|
|
Business / Domain Skills
|
- Experience developing test automation for streaming media applications across web, mobile, connected TV, and gaming console platforms.
- Experience testing media playback quality, adaptive bitrate (ABR), digital rights management (DRM), and codec behavior.
- Experience building and improving test automation frameworks and converting manual test cases into automated tests.

Communication
|
Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.

Documentation
|
Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.

|
