IT Systems Administrator

Key Responsibilities: Active Directory & Windows Systems Administer and support Active Directory, including Group Policy, replication, permissions, and security. Troubleshoot and resolve AD and Windows Server issues using best practices. Provide knowledge-sharing and technical guidance to IT team members.

Backup/Restore, and System Administration Monitor and respond to system alerts and logs. Support enterprise backup, restore, and archiving (BURA) operations. Document all work in the appropriate ITSM platform. Tier Ill Technical Support Provide advanced desk-side and remote support for escalated tickets. Install and troubleshoot software within a primarily Windows environment (with some iOS support). Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues; escalate vendor tickets as needed. Communication, Ticket Management, and Customer Interaction Communicate effectively with internal customers and technical teams. Manage ticket queues, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions. Provide status updates and contribute to maintaining service-level commitments. Required Technical Skills VMware virtualization platforms (hands-on administration experience). Enterprise backup and restore systems. Active Directory administration (GPO, replication, security). Windows Server and Windows OS management. Remote connectivity tools and standard Microsoft Office applications. Experience & Education Minimum of three years of professional system administration experience. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of experience and education. Ability to work independently with limited direction and handle multiple concurrent priorities. Must possess CompTIA Security+
