Summary

IT Support of health care-related technology for the Agency. \
Support the Electronic Health Records System, Lab Information System, PACS, and Pharmacy Information systems. System, and all related interfaces and health care technologies
Daily Duties / Responsibilities:
Supports the implementation process including build, testing, and go-live of healthcare applications and technologies, such as the EHR, lab, PACS, pharmacy, and related systems, in conjunction with vendors, clinical, and technical support staff.
Assists with the maintenance of the health IT infrastructure, including applications, databases, templates, and reporting.
Help with troubleshooting, triage, escalation, and provide root cause analysis for EMR-related issues.
Helps create reports for management and users.
Helps document the current workflow process for medical and mental health care providers.
Required Skills (rank in order of Importance):
Experience with Electronic medical records (EMR), preferably NextGen
Experience with Mirth Lab Systems
Preferred Skills (rank in order of Importance):
HL7 Messaging
FHIR
Experience EMR Integration
Experience with Interoperability and Data Transfer
Experience with Healthcare IT Operations
